Theatre Sound Install at The Landor Space

So when they decided to open an event space with its own small bar, they wanted to create a blank canvas that was suitable to host theatre, live music and other events. It needed a discrete, unobtrusive sound system that also provided the required output level for the vast array of events they would be hosting.

It was important that whatever the solution, due to the number of events that would be hosted there, the system had to be simple and easy to work.

THE SOLUTION

Using Apart Audio equipment, we focused on the separate areas of the space; the bar area and the event space, creating an impressive end result with a modest cost.

For the bar, we installed a pair of speakers for the perfect level of background music. This gave the option of playing its own localised music or feeding sound in from the main space for larger events.

When taking on the event space, after discussing a number of options, we chose a two-zone system. The final system comprised four MASK6C speakers, one for each of the corners, finished with an impressive SUB2201 subwoofer for a deep, rounded sound. A zone controller allows us to easily control the two different zones depending on the type of event.

A local remote wall panel in the bar was the perfect finishing touch, allowing an easy way to play music through a phone on the bar speakers.
